AMMUNITION-LITE TOTAL CONCEPT BULLET RESISTANCE GLAZING SYSTEM

1. INTRODUCTION

Ammunition-Lite is aimed to give an integrated system on Bullet Resistance Glazing. The glass, its framing and glazing must be a complete assembly that is capable of rendering total protection against ammunition powered ballistic impact.

2. FRAMING SYSTEM

The frame consists of a core structural steel tube with 3mm thick armoured structural steel plate which acts as holder for the glass. The glass will be sitting on a setting block. The bonding between the glass and the structural framing is achieved by structural sealant. All framing system. Shall be compatible to the ballistic protection of the glass.

3. GLASS

The glass consists of a composite panel made up of layers of glass with multiple interlayers of polymer and polycarbonate plates. The modulation of the glass and interlayers are strategically assembled to give its optimum resistance against the impact of ammunition powered ballistic missiles.

4. FINISHES

The frame can be finished with fluorocarbon system, stainless steel capping, veneer cladding and other finished.

5. STANDARDS

The Bullet Resistance Glazing System has been tested to comply with the following:

a. DIN 52290 [German Standard] for bullet resistance test.
b. AS 2208 for resistance against mechanical impact.
c. BS 5051: Part 1: 1988 by Singapore Chartered Fire Arms Industry.

6. SPECIFICATION

To ensure the desired quality is obtained and the high level performance achieved, please specify:'Ammunition-Lite' Bullet Resistance Glazing with anti-splinter protection".

-

We have calculated the effective dose transmission factor of 0.511 MeV gamma ray through our Isotope-Lite G lead glass taking into account the build-up factor so that Isotope-Lite G lead glass can be used safety and appropriately as shielding glass in PET treatment facilities.

Primary Penetrated Rays and Scattered Rays

As shown in the figure below, gamma rays are radiated in all directions from a subject dosed with medicine in PET treatment, and some of those gamma rays pass through radiation shielding materials (e.g. lead, lead glass, concrete) 8395683A 0858 11E2 B154 12314000C811
